Helena Rodilla

Associate Professor at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience, Deputy Head of Laboratory, Terahertz and Millimetre Wave Laboratory

Helena Rodilla is Associate Professor at the Terahertz and Millimetre Wave Laboratory at Chalmers University of Technology from 2020. She received the B. S. and PhD. Degrees in physics from the University of Salamanca, in 2006 and 2010, respectively.
With a background in semiconductor physics and microwave and terahertz techniques, her immediate research interest is the study of the use of THz technology in life sciences. Her research covers from basic science on molecular dynamics and the use of THz waves for the identification and sensing of biomolecules, to applied research on instrumentation for the pharmaceutical industry in collaboration with AstraZeneca.
