Ebrahim Ghahramani

Post doc at Mechanics and Maritime Sciences, Division of Fluid Dynamics

Ebrahim Ghahramani’s research focus is on numerical simulation of fluid flows, with more emphasis on multiphase flows. He develops and uses computational tools in various applications from hydrodynamic and aerodynamic systems to interdisciplinary biological and life-science problems. He has developed a hybrid CFD solver for simulation of multi-scale cavitating flows. He is also involved in a joint study with the Chemical Engineering Department to simulate carbon capture process. The aim is to reduce CO2 emissions in the cement production.
