Carmen joined the Divison of Applied Acoustics in 2017 as a doctoral student at the Vibroacoustics research group.

Carmen’s research is focused in assessing the different human responses to low-frequency sounds, and the role that this type of sounds should have in future building acoustics and noise control regulations. This research is part of Acoutect, an Horizon 2020 project that aims to ensure a healthy environment for people living and working in buildings.
