Research

Research work at Chalmers covers everything from mathematics and natural sciences through technology to industrial sciences to social structures.

Many inventions and innovations that we meet daily come from Chalmers, for example the rear-facing child seat, crash-car dummies used by Volvo, SAAB and others, and the ink-jet printer.

Research takes place in 17 different departments, divided into research divisions and teams.

MC2ACCESS Workshop - March 1-2, 2010 This workshop will focus on the evaluation of the results from the 4 year (2006-2009) program of activities within the EU financed programme MC2ACCESS. Results produced at MC2 Nanofabrication Laboratory on device fabrication in a wide range of applications will be presented. There will be 25 oral presentations of users from different Universities and Research institutes (and SME) around Europe. The workshop is open for all interested (Free of Charge!) but is limited to 90 participants. Integrated Nonlinear Microwave and Millimetre-wave Circuits (INMMiC) The workshop on Integrated Nonlinear Microwave and Millimetre-wave Circuits (INMMiC) will be held at Chalmers 2010. After earlier successful workshops in 2004 in Rome, 2006 in Aveiro and 2008 in Málaga, INMMiC offers again a forum for promoting, discussing and spreading ideas in the field of Nonlinear Microwave and Millimetre-wave circuits.
