Logistics

Both the school and the accomodation will be at Hotel Panorama, Gothenburg, Sweden. Participants are expected to arrive on Sunday 6 October and leave on Friday 11 October.

Travel:
Gothenburg has one airport, Landvetter (GOT). Airport buses (Flygbussarna) run from Landvetter Airport to Göteborg daily between about 05.00-24.00. During rush hour, the buses run about every 15 minutes and never less than every half hour at other times. Buses leave from right outside the terminal building. There are several options available for buying Flygbussarna tickets. The most convenient way is to buy your ticket in their webshop (Flygbussarna). You can also buy tickets at the airport, or on board the bus with a credit card. You can’t pay with cash onboard the bus. Get off at the “Korsvägen” stop. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Panorama Hotel, see the map.

A taxi from the airport to the city center is about 500 SEK.

If you arrive by train to Gothenburg central station (Centralstationen), you can go to Hotel Panorama with public transport, e.g., bus 52 from Brunnsparken (close to Centralstationen).

For information about public transport (buses and trams) in the Gothenburg area, see Västtrafik.
