Injection moulding

Three successive seminars are given, dealing with the injection phase, the pressure phase and the cooling phase. Each seminar will be followed by an extended experimental session for practice on an injection moulding machine. Students are expected to perform all settings needed for the operation of the machine, such as for making a test bar
The course will be based on selected textbooks, summarized and provided as hand-outs.
The examiners will be professor Antal Boldizar and Associate Professor Giada Lo Re, both at the Department of Industry and Materials Science, Chalmers
