Chemical vapor deposition allows for large areas of graphene on any substrate. This project aims at development of a reliable platform for CVD growth of graphene which is comparable in quality with graphene obtained by e.g. mechanical exfoliation of graphite. Easily scalable CVD graphene can then be used for fundamental studies and in practical devices, like light-emitting diodes or mass-sensitive nano-electromechanical resonators. Our high quality CVD graphene showing Hall-resistance quantization can be even used in metrology applications. Our technology is open to any project which requires large areas of graphene.
