NEW - Emissions from transportation - 7,5 credits
The transport system is very complex yet fundamental for our society. At the same time, it is crucial to minimize the effects on human health and the environment. A broad understanding of transportation technologies and their emissions is important in enabling a sustainable transportation system. Important aspects are the difference between global emissions (e.g. CO2) and local emissions (e.g. NOx and particulates) and to consider emissions from a life cycle perspective.

In this course, you will get an introduction to current transportation technologies and the different types and consequences of emissions. You will learn, reflect and collaborate with students from other backgrounds, which is important for all professionals. The course material is in English, but group discussions will be in Swedish if all participants speak Swedish. The examination can be conducted in either Swedish or English.

Course period: 2022-06-15 - 2022-08-15
Entry requirement: General entry requirements for bachelor's level studies
