The Department of Technology Management and Economics focuses on the interaction between technology and society in an economic and social context.
Organization and management of business processes such as logistics, innovation, technology and product development, production and strategic change are key issues. The department combines theory from engineering with theory from mainly economy and behavioral science.
The department is located on Campus Johanneberg and has about 150 employees. The research and the education focuses on three target areas:
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations Management
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
With a strong connection to the industry the department interacts both nationally and internationally with society, researchers and other universities.
