MOOCs in Scandinavia 2016

***The video recordings of the presentations are now online (under conference program)***

On June 09-10th 2016, the second conference on MOOCs in Scandinavia  took place at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference was organized by a collaboration of Chalmers, Karolinska Institutet, Lund University, Uppsala University and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

An increasing number of Scandinavian universities engage in MOOCs with the promise and hope to offer high quality education to anyone, anywhere. After the hype some years ago, questions about what constitutes a good MOOC are increasingly complemented by considerations about how MOOCs can be integrated into the broader educational landscape, including campus and professional education.

After last year's great exchanges and positive feedback, we continued the dialogue among researchers, practitioners and administrators. We had interesting presentations and inspiring discussions that challenged our pre-conceptions about online learning in general and MOOCs in particular.
