In order to have the best poster exhibition yet, K, BIO and KMB invite all employees to attend the poster mini-course March 5th 09:00-10:00 in KS11 and 6th 09:00-10:00 in KS101, Chemistry Building.
Mikael Terfors, Art Director at Chalmers Communication division, will hold a 1-hour mini-course on different ways to visually communicate science.
Attending the course will give you valuable information and help improve your skills in communicating your research effectively in a visually inviting way. The specific focus will be on poster design. This should be seen as a great opportunity to increase your chances of winning poster awards, both at the S&T day and other occasions!
The following topics will be covered:
• What makes a poster great – and not so great?
• Design for success
• The five-minute rule of research posters
• Chalmers guidelines for posters
• Research posters – show and tell
For the last point, you are encouraged to send in posters to Mikael Terfors in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org, and you will get feedback on your poster design during the course by Mikael and the other participants!
On behalf of the poster organizing committee, Lilian de Martín, Aleksej Zelezniak and Carl-Johan Wallentin.
