The meeting will take place at the Chalmers Conference Center, located at Campus Johanneberg of Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
In general we will prefer if your talk can be displayed from conference computers (Mac or Windows available), but if you have a strong preference to use your own laptop, then this can be arranged.
Posters can be up to A0 size: 841mm wide x 1189mm tall. They can be displayed at the venue from Monday morning until Thursday 2pm. Poster presenters will also have the chance for a short (up to 2 min) oral summary of their work, showing up to 2 slides (email file (up to 2 MB) to firstname.lastname@example.org), else default will be to display the 1 page PDF contribution.
1 page PDFs are expected by June 3rd (<1MB file size) from all science contributions (talks and posters). Follow the instructions you received by email.
Plane: Gothenburg has one airport, Landvetter (GOT).
Train: There are frequent rail links to Stockholm, Copenhagen & Oslo (taking about 4 hours).
Arriving from the airport: It is best to take the airport bus (Flygbussarna), which costs about 200 SEK for a round-trip ticket, which you can buy online in advance (www.flygbussarna.se/en/landvetter) or at the airport vending machine or on the bus with a credit card. The bus goes roughly every 12 minutes and takes about 25 minutes to reach the city. The first stop (Korsvagen) in the city is best for Gothia Towers; the second stop (Berzeligatan) for Elite Park Ave. Hotel and Lorensberg Hotel; third stop (Kungssportsplatsen) for Hotel Poseidon. A taxi from the airport to city center is about 500 SEK.
Public transport: Gothenburg has a well-functioning public transport system of trams and buses. The tram stop is "Chalmers". On many buses a single ticket cannot be bought aboard the bus, instead you either need the app 'Västtrafik To Go' or to buy your ticket beforehand at a "Västtrafik" service shop or e.g. a "Pressbyrån" convenience store.
