In the last few years the AdS/CFT machinery, and more general holographic methods, have continued to reveal their enormous potential in the investigation of fundamental interactions of matter. The aim of this informal workshop is to discuss the current state of the art and the most recent results in the context of applications of gauge/gravity duality, with a special focus on strongly correlated quantum field theories and phenomena of relevance for condensed matter physics.
