Wingquist Laboratory is a research collaboration between Chalmers and Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre.
Chalmers University of Technology
conducts research and education in technology, natural science and architecture. Chalmers has approximately 3200 employees and about 11000 students.
Chalmers participates in the centre with two departments, Industrial and Materials Science (IMS) and Electrical Engineering (E2). IMS is the organizational host of the centre. Chalmers contributes to the centre with research facilities and personnel, is a member of the board and has actively been involved in proposing and forming the research agenda and the project portfolio.
The Fraunhofer-Chalmers Research Centre
Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre for Industrial Mathematics (FCC) is a research centre focusing on how to apply mathematics. FCC is 50/50 owned by Chalmers and Fraunhofer-Gesellshaft and is a partner for international industry and academia to mathematically model, analyze, simulate, optimize, and visualize complex phenomena in industry and science.
FCC employs around 50 people in Sweden. FCC contributes to the centre with research personnel and provides simulation technique and support in development of demonstrators. FCC is a member of the board and has actively been involved in proposing and forming the research agenda and the project portfolio.
