Research focus:
Modelling of mechanical properties and plasmonic excitations in graphene.
Theoretical methods:
Continuum mechanics, hydrodynamics, and many-body physics.
Focus of future research:
  • Nonlinear effects in graphene plasmons, particularly in the low-density regime
  • Control of plasmon propagation by external DC voltages and currents
  • Coupling between plasmons and other excitations in 2D materials
