Production Research Associate Programme

We have now launched the Chalmers AoA Production Research Associate programme. The programme will enable talented students from our master programmes to obtain some research experience or in some other way support a faculty member. The programme is inspired by the ”Undergraduate Research Opportunity Programs” often found at US universities.

Read about the four pioneers of this seed-bed programme

The programme is open to students from the following master programmes
  • Production engineering
  • Product development
  • Industrial design engineering
  • Industrial ecology
  • Materials engineering
  • Systems, control and mechatronics
  • Supply chain management
  • Quality and operations management
  • Applied mechanics

The Production Area of Advance has for 2021 assigned funding for six students, one per programme.

We primarily aim for that students will take the initiative to make contact with a faculty member. However, if you have an interest in mentoring a student or need help with a research project, please feel free to contact a student directly. We can also try to pair up faculty and students will similar interests.
