Community building activity 2016

Around 150 people met up in Bohusgården, Uddevalla August 22-24 for the annual community building activity of the Area of Advance Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.

The event is a chance for all working within this area at Chalmers to meet and exchange ideas and even start new projects together.

- There is a growth in this area that is strongly connected to the growth in our surroundings. The nanometer-based materials, which is what our research will lead to, is becoming of greater importance for the society. One of the most known examples is graphene, where Chalmers is making large investments, says Bo Albinsson, Director of the Area of Advance Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
