Welcome to Information and Communication Technology at Chalmers. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Area of Advance at Chalmers performs research that is required by the future information society. About 170 senior researchers (50 Professors) at Chalmers are active in scientific fields within ICT. Our research leads to novel software and hardware for tomorrow's computing and communication.

Our vision is to advance novel hardware and software technologies for more efficient communication and computing, with the purpose of driving long-term societal and industrial system development.

The four core departments in ICT are Microtechnology and Nanoscience, Signals and Systems, Applied Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering.
