Making science useful

The project Making science useful is about showing the vide variety of which science is utilised in the society. It shows the strength of a complementary, horizontal organisation structure strengthening university – industry relations, enabling today’s and tomorrow’s questions about energy and resource efficiency to be addressed.

The cases we have gathered are some examples on how science is made useful. They represent far from all the engagement and all the stories we could tell. This it is only a start and I do hope we never reach the end.

I certainly hope you are inspired when exploring the ability and the many different ways knowledge and results from a strategic research initiative are diffused into different parts of the society at large.
