Chalmers has developed a model for strategic long-term collaborative agreements with society and industry – the so-called Chalmers Open Innovation Networks (COINS). Collaboration agreements within this model ties the parties to long-term, mutual commitments to joint development in research and education.
The Building Futures Area of Advance hosts the following two COINS agreements:
E39 Coastal Highway Route initiative - a joint collaboration agreement between The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) and Chalmers University of Technology.
NPRA and Chalmers intend to jointly strengthen and develop education, research and innovation within the Road Infrastructure area in a long term perspective. Collaboration activities under this agreement can comprise:
- Competence provisioning
- Competence development
- Access to physical environment, infrastructure and innovation system
HSB Living Lab - a joint collaboration agreement with HSB Living Lab.
Furthermore, we work closely together with Johanneberg Science Park
- a meeting point for enterprise, research and development in
Gothenburg. Building Futures is a strong focus area for Johanneberg
Science Park, along with Energy, Material and Nanotechnology.
