Resources in buildings and infrastructures

Buildings and infrastructures use a large amount of resources over their entire life cycle of construction, operation, maintenance and demolition. The active field seeks to explore opportunities to retain or even increase the performance of buildings and infrastructures with fewer resources. The first step is to obtain an overview of the resources used. Various optimisation approaches will subsequently be explored and finally implementation strategies will be developed.
