Colours

Chalmers has a basic palette of colors that takes inspiration from our daily environment and our location on the west coast. These consist of a mixture of classical materials and shapes, such as ferrous copper, brick and granite, but also elements like sky, sea and energy. None of these colors take precedence over anyone else - but some work more like signal colors, while others work better as base colors.

Colors are defined by different codes for different reproduction and production methods. CMYK is used for full color printing. PMS is used for spot color printing. For display and video, RGB is used. Web pages uses hexagonal.
