Administration and Services is Chalmers’ organisation for staff and reporting support to the management, joint administration and service to departments and other units. The work is organised under 9 offices and is to be found under each office. Two offices, the Service Department and the Office of IT Systems and Services are financed through fees.

Student and Education Office works with:

Division of IT-Governance
Division of IT management is responsible for Chalmers IT operations. These tasks include:
- Provide IT services at a reasonable cost
- Purchase and manage Chalmers IT services
- Information security responsibilities
- Analyze the needs of IT services and tools
- Develop IT strategy, policies, guidelines and rules of use
The department belongs to Administration and service but the CIO reports to the president on strategic issues and information and to the Administrative Director on other matters.

Communications and Marketing
The Communications and Marketing office is responsible for communications and public relations at Chalmers, both internal and external. The office is also responsible for the Chalmers brand. Our key responsibilities are:
- To lead and develop the Chalmers communications strategy, including marketing communication, media relations and relations with the community, both nationally and internationally.

The HR Department works with:
