To the Friends of Chalmers scholarship foundation, students at Chalmers may apply for the following scholarships:
- Thesis work
- Participation in projects related to your education at Chalmers
The foundation aims to support students engaged in a variety of student initiated and student managed projects. The project should be of value in the development of both the student and Chalmers.
Who can apply?
The Friends of Chalmers scholarships are only applicable for current student at Chalmers. The scholarships are a complement to other sources of funding (private, CSN and/or other scholarships).
The Ulla-Britt Bergkvist Scholarship - an opportunity for female students
1-3 of the scholarships, between 50 000 and 100 000 SEK, are designated for female students only. This applies to the scholarships dedicated in remembrance of Ms Ulla- Britt Bergkvist, a former student of Chalmers.
No retroactive support
Friends of Chalmers does not give support retroactively. Projects may begin no earlier than the date of application has been officially registered.
The application shall include the following items, attached as one single pdf in the application form below:
- Project Description (max length 1 A4) with budget and one reference person from Chalmers
- Personal motivation letter
