Our success doesn’t happen by itself
Chalmers is growing in many areas. Our success doesn’t happen by itself. It’s the result of making efforts to become the best we ever can. But it would never happen if it weren’t for the contributions made by individuals, corporations and foundations. Your will to make a difference is what’s keeping Chalmers moving forward at all times, therefore we are seeking to nourish and help the young scientists and scholars that reside within our campus. Within the Friends of Chalmers development and scholarship fund you can chose between supporting two different areas.
Scholarships are one of the best ways for students to meet and connect with people from other universities, cultures and areas of interest. New ways to look at problems develop Chalmers towards being a leading university and pressure us towards achieving goals which not so long ago thought to be impossible. Exchange scholarships are the foundation of Friends of Chalmers scholarships.
We intend to encourage students to study in countries outside the anglosaxian border. Friends of Chalmers also want to support student initiated projects that strive to bring about improvements with regard to the students’ long-term needs. We also support international students at Chalmers.
Friends of Chalmers believe that networking, with for example people, institutions and organizations, will help young researchers to form new presentations of a problem and impel them to perform even better. Within the area Young Researchers the foundation will support PhD students and post docs in for example interdisciplinary project, attending conferences and other networking opportunities.
Scholarships to the last penny
All contributions go directly to your area of interest without having to bear any administrative costs. Projects and individuals are selected as recipients of the fund’s resources on an annual basis by the Friends of Chalmers committee. As a donor you will be kept fully informed of how your support is used through our website and our regular newsletter.
