The task of the Chalmers University of Technology Foundation is to function as the owner of the University. This ownership role includes appointing the University Board and the matter of discharge from liability. Duties also include promoting and stimulating the continuous development of Chalmers.
The Foundation bears ultimate responsibilty for guaranteeing that the University discharges its undertakings to the state and other key parties. The work of the Foundation is funded through the assets of the Foundation.
