What should I wear?
For gentlemen the dress code is evening dress; tails with a white waistcoat and white bow tie and the lady wears a long dress of any colour. This applies both to guests and promovendi (those receiving degrees) during the ceremony and the dinner.
For the guests who only attend the ceremony in the Concert Hall the dresscode is formal for gentlemen and equivalent for ladies.
For promovendi the code is always tails and long dress respectively, irrespective of whether you merely wish to take part in the ceremony. Also regarded as evening dress are full dress uniform and national or regional costume.
