I will have my degree conferred in my absence, what does that mean?
It means that you are included on the list of promovendi being conferred, that your name is presented at the ceremony and that the diploma is issued. The diploma will be sent by registered post to the address you have provided. It is therefore vital to ensure that the correct address is registered in Ladok (the computer-based student admission and documentation system). If you change address or is about to, please notify the Study Admission.
