Thomas Eriksson

Thomas Eriksson is Vice Head of Department of Electrical Engineering and responsible for undergraduate and Master's education. As a Full Professor of Communication systems, his research is focused on statistical signal processing and communication. A main interest is so called "Dirty RF" processing, where imperfections in communication hardware (such as nonlinear amplifiers, phase noise, I/Q imbalance etc.) are analyzed and compensated. Another area of interest is theory and methods for feedback of channel state information (CSI), both using quantization of CSI or hybrid ARQ (automatic repeat request).
