Jae Ho Shin is a PhD student in the Industrial Biotechnology division.
His research involves synthetic pathway engineering and host strain engineering. He is also part of BioBUF project and his role within the project is to test various pathways for adipic acid biosynthesis from Swedish non-food lignocellulosic material as sustainable and bio-based carbon sources. Jae Ho holds B.S. in Biochemistry and M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCLA.
