Ivan Marti-Vidal

Research engineer, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Onsala Space Observatory, Observational Support

As a member of the Nordic Node of the EU ALMA Regional Center (ARC), Ivan's main duties are to give support to nordic users of ALMA (from proposal preparation to data calibration and analysis) and to promote the potential use of ALMA among the nordic astronomical comunity. Ivan also give support to the users of other infrastructures related to the National Facility for Radio Astronomy. Ivan's main science interests are the study of radio emission from Cosmic explosions (supernovae) and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) at high spatial resolutions, using the Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) technique.
