However, for many reasons it is difficult to implement electronics that harness the full computational potential of the billions of devices available today. What is worse, as complexity increases, it gets harder and harder to make use of this intrinsic potential. The VLSI Research Group performs circuits-oriented research on electronic system design methodologies with the goal of enabling efficient implementation of future, highly integrated systems.
