Master's level
News!
Starting in the fall of 2012 we are offering a
Security specialization course package at Master's level.
Security is becoming increasingly important for system design and development. System architects and designers must have security expertise, so that the systems they design do not fall victims to attacks. Software developers and engineers must have security expertise, so that the code they produce cannot be exploited. Security and network specialists must have critical knowledge of security principles and practice, in order to ensure the security of the systems they are responsible for.
Information about the course package is found here:

PLEASE NOTE
International students who are already studying in Sweden or are residents in countries within the EU/EES area may apply in the national application round open between March 15 and April 15 for the autumn term.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is strongly international, with 76 faculty and about 80 PhD students from 30 countries. It provides a dynamic research environment and has groups of world renown in a number of fields.
The research spans the whole spectrum, from theoretical underpinnings to applied systems development. We have extensive national and international collaboration with academia and industry. Industrial collaborators in Sweden include Volvo, Saab, Ericsson and Saab Space, as well as the many smaller IT companies associated with Chalmers and University of Gothenburg.
We offer about 150 courses on a bachelor and master level in a broad range of subjects: Algorithms, Computer Security, Dependable Computer Systems, Distributed Systems, Formal Methods, Integrated Electronic System Design, Interaction Design, Language Technology, Logic, Networks, Programming Languages and Software Engineering. This gives the students a broad selection and the opportunity to specialise within a number of areas where we offer advanced courses.
