EducationThe Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) offers BSc- and MSc- and PhD-level education in a broad range of subjects: Algorithms, Computer Security, Dependable Computer Systems, Distributed Systems, Formal Methods, Integrated Electronic System Design, Interaction Design, Language Technology, Logic, Networks and Software Engineering. The CSE education includes almost 150 courses offered to around 20 different programmes at two universities - Chalmers and University of Gothenburg. We run PhD programmes in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Human Technology Design, the last one jointly with the Department of Product and Production Development. Our teaching staff of around 140 people meet a few thousand students per year, corresponding to 1200 full time students including 80 PhD students.
