The Food Bioactives Centre is a knowledge centre and a networking platform for researchers who work in the field of bioactive compounds in food and their influence on human health. The goal of the centre is to stimulate interdisciplinary research and to function as a communication platform with industry.

The Food Bioactives Centre was started during 2009-2010 by professor Ann-Sofie Sandberg at Department of Food Science, Chalmers University of Technology. It is currently funded by the Region of Västra Götaland and Chalmers.
