 FOOD BIOACTIVES CENTRE

Food Bioactives Centre at Chalmers is a knowledge centre and a networking platform for scientists with a common research interest in bioactive food compounds and their beneficial effects on health. The aim of the Centre is to unite and strenghten the research in the region of Västra Götaland. Scientists within diverse research areas are represented such as agriculture, fish farming, animal husbandry, food science and nutrition, medicine and systems biology. The centre is currently funded by the Region of Västra Götaland and Chalmers University of Technology.
