![]() GeoEngineeringGeoEngineering consists of two research groups: Engineering Geology and Geotechnical Engineering, and the Road and Traffic group. We perform research on hydrogeology in soil and crystalline rocks, strength and deformation properties of soil, risk analysis of soil and water contamination, remediation of contaminated sites, geotechnical structures, road technology, and traffic safety.
In our efforts to find sustainable solutions to engineering problems, we have close collaboration with stakeholders in water, construction and transport sectors. Collaboration across geographical regions and disciplines is the basis for our research and educational activities. GeoEngineering has modern laboratories for geotechnology and environmental chemistry.
