Associate Professor from Boston University on visit

Anna Swan, Associate Professor Boston University visited Applied Phystics during the week. She started her PhD in Lars Walldén group before moving over to US where she has been working with optical studies of low dimensional systems like graphene, and individual carbon nanotubes and quantum dots using Raman spectroscopy, Rayleigh scattering and time-resolved pump-probe experiments.

Another area of interest is Spectral Self-Interference Spectroscopy for high resolution imaging and biosensing. In Göteborg she mainly met with colleagues interested in graphene properties.
