Syllabus

• Transition State Theory
• Wave packet dynamics
• Time correlation functions (applications to reactions rates, transport and particle
• scattering)
• Quantum dynamics in condensed phase - real and imaginary time path integrals –
• including the Classical Wigner approximation
• llustrative computer sessions will be given.

Examination will be in the form of a literature task and/or small research project.

Prior to course start, the participants will receive material to prepare themselves during one week.

The event is open to students from any university. The event is sponsored by the Nationa

Graduate School on Scientific Computing (NGSSC) who also provides a number of grants for travelling and housing for students from Swedish universities.
