Condensed Matter TheoryCondensed matter physics is part of the largest branch of physics and certainly the one with the largest impact on our daily lives. The group's activities lies in nanoscale systems, with a particular emphasis on nanoelectromechanics, and the properties and applications of carbon nanostructures based on nanotubes or graphene. We also cover aspects of the physics of biological systems. The group includes researchers both at the Department of Applied Physics at CHALMERS and at the Department of Physics at Gothenburg University.
