Deactivation of catalyst nanoparticles by sintering is an issue in emission cleaning process and will be addressed by my PhD project. Understanding the mechanisms and kinetics of sintering will be done on model catalyst using in-situ characterization techniques (mainly indirect nanoplasmonic sensing and TEM). The project is funded by Competence Center for Catalysis (KCK).
