I’m working with conversion of light into other forms of energy like heat or electrical potential. More specifically I’m investigating how nanometer sized metal particles interact with light through so called localized surface plasmon resonances and how the energy taken up by these resonances may be transferred to other materials where it may be utilized.

I’ve been a PhD student since March 2010 within the project Functional Electromagnetic Metamaterials.
