My research is aimed at studying catalyzed surface reactions in sustainable energy applications. I performed my PhD work within the Chemical Physics group and focus was on the electrodes of the polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). After my PhD thesis I have started to investigate the reactions involved in CO2 reduction. For my Post-Doc project, I am studying both electrochemical and photochemical routes to form hydrocarbon fuels from CO2. A large part of this project is carried out at the Center for Individual Nanoparticle Functionality at DTU in Denmark.
