I graduated from Electrical Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering, Koç University, Istanbul. I have completed my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara on "targeted self-assembly of nanocrystal quantum dots using genetically engineered peptides on LEDs" and also worked on surface plasmon enhanced fluorescence of nanocrystal quantum dots by using nanostructured metal surfaces. Currently I am working on optical properties of metal nanostructures and dark field microscopy. I am also interested in fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy and biosensing.
