The Department of Applied Physics is strongly involved in the theaching of physics at both Chalmers and Göteborg University. The teaching is conducted in collaboration with the Department of Fundamental Physics at Chalmers and the Department of Physics at Göteborg University within the framework of Fysikcentrum Göteborg.

The Department of Applied Physics also hosts three masterprograms:

• Applied Physics
• Complex Adaptive Systems
• Nuclear Engineering

As well as the Chalmers Graduate school for material science and the National Network Graduate School for material science.
