Chalmers University of Technology and CHARMEC are proud to announce that IWRN11 will be held 9 – 13 September 2013 in the city of Uddevalla on the west coast of Sweden.
The International Workshop on Railway Noise (IWRN) offers a unique forum for meeting and interacting with international experts in the fields of railway noise and vibration. The first workshop was held in 1976 in Derby, UK. The latest workshop was held in 2010 in Nagahama, Japan. The number of delegates at the 2010 workshop was more than 140. The workshops have contributed greatly to the increased understanding of many problems in railway noise and vibration.
The venue of the IWRN11 workshop has been selected aiming to continue this successful tradition and further enhance vivid exchange of experience and viewpoints. There are no parallel sessions to allow for comprehensive discussions of topics.
The IWRN International Committee seeks original papers on all subjects related to railway noise and vibration.
