Presentation:
I was appointed professor in Heat Transfer in 1995 and currently I'm the head of the Division of Fluid Dynamics. The general subject of my research is simulation of fluid flow and heat transfer using finite volume methods. Currently, a larger part of the research is concentrated on Large Eddy Simulations (LES). Lately, I have focused on hybrid LES-RANS, an approach to make it possible to use LES for wall-bounded flows at high Reynolds numbers.

On-going projects:
The projects cover many different topics including turbulence modelling, Large Eddy Simulations, Hybrid LES-RANS, convective and natural convection, aero-acoustics and two-phase flow. For more information, see: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~lada/
