Haukur Elvar is a PhD student with Professor Lars-Erik Erikson as supervisor. He will be working on active suppression of jet engine noise in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati and Volvo Aero Corporation. Before starting his PhD Haukur worked as a research assistant for one year after finishing his masters degree at the Applied Mechanics program at Chalmers.
