My names is Abdallah Abou-Taouk and is a PhD Student at the Division of Fluid Dynamics. My background comes from Chalmers University, Mechanical Engineering program with focus on the master program Turbulence. I have been an CFD-Engineer the last three years at the department of Aerothermodynamics at Volvo Aero.

The Project title for my PhD is: CFD MODELING OF SYNGAS COMBUSTION IN GAS TURBINE CONDITIONS. The financing of the project is coming from TURBO POWER. This work will involve derivation of new multi-step global mechanisms for syngas flames, coupling these multi-step mechanisms with an established turbulence interaction model, CFD analysis for a syngas burner test rig at LTH/Combustion Physics and comparison with experiments.

Lars-Erik Eriksson is the main Supervisor.
