Title: An outlook for energy efficiency improvement of future aero engines

Dr. Tomas Grönstedt received his Ph.D. from Chalmers University of Technology in 2000. After that, he continued at the division of fluid dynamics as an assistant professor, and as an associate professor from 2005. Since 2009, Tomas Grönstedt is an engineering method specialist at Volvo Aero Corporation. Tomas’ main research interests are conceptual design and innovation assessment for gas turbines engines.
